## 1. Agreement to Terms

By contacting, enrolling with, or using the services of Honolulu Math Tutor LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are enrolling on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and accept these terms on the minor’s behalf.

## 2. Services Provided

Honolulu Math Tutor LLC provides one-on-one math tutoring services, both virtually and in-office, at 1164 Bishop Street, Suite 926, Honolulu, Hawaii. Services include, but are not limited to:

– Homework help and assignment completion support
– Subject tutoring: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus I & II, AP Calculus AB/BC, College Algebra, and Applied Math in Business (BUS 250)
– Standardized test preparation: SAT, ACT, SSAT, ASVAB, AFQT, SIFT, GRE (math), GED, and University of Hawaii ACCUPLACER
– University-level math tutoring (UH Manoa and other institutions)

All sessions are conducted on a one-to-one basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.

## 3. Pricing Plans

The following hourly rates apply to homework help and tutoring sessions:

An additional student may be added to any session for **$35 per hour more**.

Test preparation pricing is separate. Please refer to the Test Prep Pricing page at honolulumathtutor.com/test-prep/ for current rates.

Prices are subject to change. Rates in effect at the time of enrollment apply for the duration of your agreed plan.

## 4. Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed. We accept the following payment methods:

– PayPal
– Mastercard
– Visa
– Zelle
– Apple Pay
– Android Pay
– Venmo
– Cash App
– Cash

Payment plans may be available upon request. Please contact us to discuss options.

## 5. Refund Policy

**All sales are final. There are no refunds if you separate from services prior to your agreement ending.**

If you have enrolled in a multi-hour plan (10, 20, or 30 hours) and choose to discontinue services before completing your purchased hours, no refund will be issued for unused hours.

If you believe there has been an error in billing, please contact us within 7 days at admin@honolulumathtutor.com so we can review your account.

## 6. Scheduling and Cancellations

– Sessions must be scheduled in advance by contacting us via phone, email, or the contact form on our website.
– If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide as much advance notice as possible.
– Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of scheduled session time without refund.
– We reserve the right to reschedule sessions in the event of tutor illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control.

## 7. Additional Student Policy

A second student may participate in a session at an additional rate of **$35 per hour**. This must be agreed upon before the session begins. Additional students beyond two are not permitted without prior written approval.

## 8. Virtual Tutoring

Virtual sessions are conducted via video conferencing. The Client is responsible for having a functioning device, stable internet connection, and a quiet environment suitable for learning. Technical difficulties on the Client’s end do not entitle the Client to a refund or session credit.

## 9. In-Office Tutoring

In-office sessions are held at 1164 Bishop Street, Suite 926, Honolulu, Hawaii. Wi-Fi access is available on-site. Clients are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals will not extend the session beyond the scheduled end time.

## 10. Client Conduct

Clients and accompanying individuals are expected to conduct themselves respectfully at all times. Honolulu Math Tutor LLC reserves the right to terminate services, without refund, if a client or accompanying individual engages in abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior.

## 11. Limitation of Liability

Honolulu Math Tutor LLC provides educational support services. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, test scores, or grade improvements. Results vary based on individual effort, attendance, and other factors outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Honolulu Math Tutor LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

## 12. Intellectual Property

All materials, worksheets, practice problems, and content created or provided by Honolulu Math Tutor LLC during sessions are the intellectual property of Honolulu Math Tutor LLC. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or sell these materials without prior written consent.

## 13. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at honolulumathtutor.com. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described therein.

## 14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Honolulu County, Hawaii.

## 15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
